Yellow-footed Green Pigeon (Treron phoenicoptera) is a delicate green bird. It is yellowish-green on the neck and breast and with a mainly soft grey head and belly. The whitish vent is strongly barred with maroon stripes. It has two yellow wing bars and beautiful lilac patches on the shoulders. The bill is pale grayish, bluer on the cere, and the feet are diagnostically yellow.
Yellow-footed Green Pigeons makes an exceptionally flimsy nest in a thick tree. Diet consists of berries, fruits (mainly wild figs) buds and shoots.
The bird can be spotted in Keoladeo National Park, Bharatpur, Rajasthan.
