Wild Water Buffalo

Wild Water Buffalo (Bubalus arnee) is a large, massive bovine with huge horns and long narrow face. The animal is named for its skill to work on sodden land and in moist climates.

Major breeds stand five to six ft (1.5–1.8 m), are up to 9 ft (2.8 m) long, and may weigh over 2,000 lb (900 kg). The buffalo is used for dairy and meat production and draft work. Its coat is hairy, coarse and sparse, except between horns. The color varies from ash-gray to black.
