White-throated Flowerpecker (Dicaeum vincens) is a small stout flowerpecker of about 10 cm in length.
The male bird has a remarkable blue-black upperparts and yellow lower breast and belly. It has a white throat, short thick curved bill, tubular tongue and short tail. The female has olive-brown upperparts and is duller than the male.
As common to the flowerpecker species, it lays eggs in a purse-like nest suspended from a tree.
White-throated Flowerpecker can be seen in the Keoladeo Ghana National Park, Rajasthan.
