Waikhyrwi, also known as ‘Thwei Syiem’, is a historic site situated in Jaintia Hills District of Meghalaya. The place is renowned for a mysterious incident from which the ancestry of the Sutnga Syiems, the erstwhile rulers of Jaintia Kingdom is known.
