Visveswaraya Institute of Engineering Technology, established in 1989, is situated at Mattakara in Kottayam District of Kerala. This multi-storied building stands on the bank of Pannagam River.
Managed by the Thirunilathil Educational Society, the college offers engineering courses in computer science, civil, electrical, electronics and communication, and mechanical.
The college frequently organizes group discussions and seminars. Separate hostels are available for boys and girls.
