Vishnupada Temple

Vishnupada Temple is located to the south of Pundalika Temple in Pandharpur. Lord Krishna is the presiding deity here. The prime attraction here is a square in the middle of the temple, which has three rocks with the footprints of Lord Krishna and a cow. On the first day of the Margashirsha month, the sandals of Lord Vitthala (Lord Krishna) are taken out of the temple and on the last day of the month, the deity’s chariot is taken out in grand procession.
