Vilangara

Vilangara village is a remote village in the Kottarakara taluk of Kollam District. It is about 10 km south of Kottarakara. Thaippooya Mahotsavam conducted at the Sree Subramanya Swami Temple here, is famous across the district and in the neighboring districts. Veliyam Sree Subramanya Swami Temple is the other Muruga Temple close to Vilangara. The place is easily accessed from Odanavattom and Veliyam villages.
