Vijayeswara Temple

Vijayeswara Temple - dedicated to Lord Shiva - dates back to the age of the Pandavas. It is believed that the temple was built by Arjuna. The episode recounting Arjuna’s encounter with Shiva in the guise of a hunter is depicted in a stone bass here. This stone relief is the main attraction of this temple. Thousands of pilgrims visit this shrine every year.
