Viburnum is a deciduous spreading shrub with white and pink flower found in the
Himalayas. It belongs to the family Caprifoliacae.
In autumn, leaves are deep purple in color. The bark is diuretic, astringent and tonic. Viburnum is useful in urinary tract infections. Viburnum blooms in late winter and early spring. Propagation is by cutting, seeds and suckers.
