Vemulawada




Vemulawada is a pilgrim town in Karimnagar District of Andhra Pradesh. It lies 32 km west of Karimnagar and 150 km from Hyderabad.

The prime attraction here is Shri Rajarajeswara Swamy Temple, built by the western Chalukyas during the 11th century. Devotees throng here during Kalyanotsavam festival that falls during the lunar month of Phalguna.

Kottapalli to the east, Sirsilla to the south and Rudrangi to the north-west are among the neighboring places.

Kottapalli Railway Station is the nearest railhead. Hyderabad Airport is the nearest airport.
