Vellaru River

Vellaru River takes it birth from Cervarayan hills, Salem. The river has a total length of 215 km and it flows through the districts of Tiruchirapalli and Cuddalore. This west flowing river continues its way to Parangippettai where it merges with the Bay of Bengal.
