Varanasi-Pune Express




Introduced in 1995, Varanasi-Pune Express runs between Varanasi Junction Railway Station in Uttar Pradesh and Pune Junction Railway Station in Maharashtra. It is also known as Gyan Ganga Express. The train touches the towns of Allahabad, Satna, Katni, Jabalpur, Itarsi, Ahmednagar and Daund on the way. It covers a distance of 1,546 km. Second A/C, third A/C and sleeper class coaches are available.

Train number 1031: Pune to Varanasi, leaves Pune at 16:15 hrs on Mondays.
Train number 1032: Varanasi to Pune, leaves Varanasi at 04:00 hrs on Wednesdays.
