Uttareshwar Temple

Uttareshwar Temple is on the northern bank of the Bindu Sagar in Bhubaneswar. Lord Kartikeya is the presiding deity and is presented holding a spear in his left hand.

The deul and jagamohana of the temple are similar to that of the Parsurameswar Temple. The images of Parsva-Devatas (the secondary gods) and Lord Kartikeya are unique in their appearance.
