Utpanna Ekadashi

Utpanna Ekadashi falls on the eleventh day of New Moon of Aghuayan. According to myth, when lords being severely distressed by a demon named Moor, Lord Vishnu appeared as a beautiful woman and killed the demon. This particular day is observed as Utpanna Ekadashi and it is considered sacred to undertake fasting on this occasion.
