Utelia




Utelia is a small hamlet in the Ahmedabad District of Gujarat. Situated at the northern tip of peninsula, it was set up by Bhav Sinhji, a member of the Vaghela Rajput clan. The village has traditional houses, temples and hot springs. It is about 6 km away from Lothal and 80 km from Ahemedabad. The palace built by Neknamdar Thakore Saheb Sur Sinhji is the main attraction of the place. Accommodation facilities are available at Palace Utelia.

Utelia is around 85 km from Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport. Ahmedabad Junction Railway Station is the nearest railhead.
