Upadesh Sahasri (meaning a thousand teachings)is an ancient text, written by
Adi Shankaracharya, a great sage and philosopher of the 8th century A D. It is considered an important text of Advaita Vedanta, a system of Indian Philosophy. Upadesha Sahasri is concise, and short, when compared to other works of Shankaracharya.
