Unniyappam




Unniyappam is a traditional sweet served as a welcome sweet in South India, especially in Kerala. It is an all season delicacy, and is made from pulped bananas, mixed with rice flour and jaggery in a special type of vessel called ‘unniappa chatty’. These sweets are made as offering to Lord Ayyappa and Lord Ganesh.
