Underi Fort




Underi is a small sea fort situated on Underi Island, which is about 5 km from Alibag. The fort was built by the Siddis and was later captured by the Peshwas. They named it as Jaidurg. Later, the British captured it from the Peshwas. The fort is in a dilapidated condition.
