Umbrella Tree (Brassia actinophylla), a native of Australia, is an erect woody bush or a small tree cultivated throughout India. It belongs to the family Araliaceae. The flowers are clustered as an umbel on a long inflorescence stock and red. Leaves are alternate and palmately compound. Umbrella Tree, very useful in commercial settings, grows fast and is relatively easy to nurse.
