Umbrella Cockatoos, also known as White-Crested Cockatoos, is white colored with pale yellow under the wings and tail. Their pure white crest is normally flat against the head and unfolds when raised. Males have black eyes while females have red or dark brown. Umbrellas have a life expectancy of over 70 years. They live in small groups or flocks. Diet consists mainly of berries, fruits and nuts. Some birds do obtain a vocabulary of 50 to 100 words.
