Tupul




Tupul is a tribal village located on the National Highway 53, in Tamenglong District. It is 25 km from Imphal. The village is mostly inhabited by the Zeliangrong Tribe. Charoi Tupul Church is the main place of worship of the villagers.

The proposed new Jiribam - Imphal broad gauge rail line, linking the state capital more easily to Delhi and the rest of the country, ends at this village.
