Transit Visas

Transit visas are issued to genuine transit passengers traveling through India to another country. Such visas are valid for halts upto 72 hours in India for a maximum period of 15 days from the date of issue with single/double entry facilities. The traveler should possess an evidence of onward travel to another country from India, such as a confirmed air ticket.
