Tilamathi beach is located close to Majali village in
Uttara Kannada District. It is one of the little known beaches of
Karnataka and the local says that the white sands of the beach do not get hot even during the heights of summer. The beach is ideal for long walk and other recreation. The place is frequented by international tourists.
Majali village is on Karwar-Goa National Highway.
