Thiruvengaivasal




Thiruvengaivasal is about 10 km from Pudukkottai and 2 km off the Pudukkottai-Tiruchirappalli highway. An ancient place of worship, Thiruvengaivasal means the sacred place of gate of the tiger and refers to the story of the God Gokarnesvara of Thirugokarnam. Vyaghra Purisvara Temple is the major attraction.

Thiruvengaivasal is served by the Pudukkottai Railway Station.
