Thirisadai Amman Temple

Thirisadai Amman Temple is dedicated to Goddess Shakti. The temple is located at Egmore. Legend has it that the Goddess came in the dream of the priest with her hair in the form of jadai (sadai). Thus the deity is known as Thirusadai. The main festivals are Navratri and Chitra Pournami. Aadi festival is also conducted here. Transport buses are available from different parts of Chennai to Egmore.
