Thick-billed Flowerpecker

Thick-billed Flowerpecker (Dicaeum agile) is a small passerine bird of about 10 cm in length. It is a stout bird with a short tail, tubular tongue and short thick curved bill. The adult bird features olive-green upperparts and grayish white underparts. The typical brightly colored male plumage of the flowerpeckers are absent in this species.

The bird lays two to four eggs in a characteristic purse-like nest suspended from a tree.

Thick-billed Flowerpecker can be seen in the Keoladeo Ghana National Park, Rajasthan.
