Thalikkotta Shiva Temple is an ancient shrine located at Thalikkotta in
Kottayam District of
Kerala. Thalikkotta is about 2 km from
Kottayam.
The chief deity here is Lord Shiva. It is believed that this temple was worshipped by the Thekkumkoor royal family at one time.
An annual festival, which lasts for ten days, held in the month of April–May is a major draw. Shivaratri is also celebrated in a grand manner. A large number of devotees throng this temple during the festive seasons.
Regular bus connects the temple with Kottayam. The nearest railhead is Kottayam Railway Station.
