Tebebuia Avalanidae is a straggling shrub with oily shining leaves grown as ornamental plant. It is well suited as cut flower and pot plant. Apart from a garden plant, Tebebuia is seen as a weed in tropical India. The flowers are generally violet color and very attractive, seen in terminal panicles.
