Tagore Centenary Hall (Tagore Theater), owned by the Government of Kerala, was established in 1965. It is located near Government College for Women at Vazhuthacaud in Thiruvananthapuram.
The theatre, spread over an area of about six acres, hosts dramas, plays, seminars, film shows, public meetings, conferences, festivals, screening of films and other cultural activities. The theater can accommodate around 1200 people. Primary importance is given for government functions. Among other facilities provided are furniture, electricity and water.
Ample parking facilities are also provided at the theater premises.
Trivandrum International Airport and Thiruvananthapuram Central Railway Station(around 5 km) are the nearest airport and railway station.
