Tabebuia Rosea is a large deciduous tree grown widely in the rainforest and tropics of India.
It produces compound leaves and funnel shaped flowers, light pinkish in color. The wood, most durable and heaviest, is used for making houses, boats and farm tools. Tabebuia Rosea is reported to be antimutagenic, antileukemic, antirheumatic, anti-cancer, anti-bacterial and anti-microbial. The medicine prepared from it is prescribed as a remedy for malaria, anemia, colitis, respiratory problems, colds, cough, flu, fungal infections, fever, arthritis and rheumatism and cancer.
