Syndai




Syndai is a small and charming village in Jaintia Hills District and is situated on the Jowai - Dawki road.

The village is famous for its caves. It is said that these caves were used as the place of concealment during the periods of war between the Jaintia kings and foreign intruders. Amazing waterfalls, variety of flora and fauna, and spots of scenic beauty complete this scenic village. Sites of historical and archaeological remains can also be observed here.

Syndai is about 47 km from Jowai.
