Sundareswarar Temple

Sundareswarar Temple is a beautiful shrine situated at Palur, in Tiruchirapalli District of Tamil Nadu. This ancient temple enshrines Lord Shiva as the presiding deity. The deity is popularly known by the name Sundareswarar.

The temple dates back to early Chola period. Sundareswarar Temple is about 800 m short of Allur, on the Tiruchirapalli-Karur Road on the north-eastern corner.
