Sun Temple at Turkpatti

The Sun Temple is located 17 km east of Kushinagar on Kasia- Tamkuhi Road. The temple boasts of a huge and acquisitively carved idol of the Sun God, made of black stone. The temple has idols belonging to the 4th, 5th, 8th and 9th centuries.
