Sun Temple at Adityapuram, Palakkad

Adityapuram is located in Palakkad District and is about 1 km from Palakkad Bus Station.

The main attraction of the place is an Aditya or Sun God Temple that faces east, and the village derived its name from this temple. A big tank that covers an area of about one acre on the eastern side of the village is a major draw.

Sri Gopalakrishna Swamy Temple and Mangala Vinayagar temple are the other places of worship in this village.
