Sulphur-crested Cockatoo (Cacatua galerita) is a large white parrot, measuring 45 cm to 50 cm. It has a dark grey-black bill, a characteristic sulphur-yellow crest and a yellow wash on the underside of the wings. The most familiar call is a distinctive loud screech, ending with a slight upward inflection.
Diet consists of berries, seeds, nuts and roots.
