Sukshma Sharira is one of the two coverings of the human body according to
Sankhya system. The other covering is Sthula Sharira.
Sukshma Sharira consists of Manas (mind), Buddhi (intelligence) and Ahankara (ego). The Sukshma Sharira is believed to accompany us even after the death of the physical body. The gross body (Sthula Sharira) is made of earth, water, fire, air and ether.
