Stok Pass (Stok La) is situated at an altitude of about 4,900 m, in the
Leh District of
Jammu and Kashmir. The pass is good for trekking and is a part of the Markha Valley trek. There is a village on the foot of the pass. The pass descends to a river which comes down from the Stok-
Kangri massif. Stok Palace and
Stok Gompa are situated nearby.
