Stok Kangri Peak




Stok Kangri, located at an elevation of about 6,121 m is one of the highest peaks of the Zanskar Range in Ladakh. From the top one can have a panoramic view of the snow-covered peaks of Karakoram and Tibet. On the way, climbers can visit Buddhist monasteries such as Shey, Thiksey and Hemis and some beautiful villages. Best time to visit the area is between July and August.
