State Highway 45

State Highway 45 is a 61 km-long stretch that links the state capital, Thiruvananthapuram, and the charming hill station of Ponmudi, in Thiruvananthapuram District. State Highway 45 overlaps State Highway 2 until Anad; it then turns east bound and passes past Chullimanoor, Vithura, Anappara junction and Kallar before reaching Ponmudi upper Sanatorium. The last 20 km or so of the road passes amidst dense forests while winding its way up the hill.
