St George's Simhasana Church

Established in 1938 by late Mor Yulius Elias Qoro, St George's Simhasana Church is located at Perumpilly, Ernakulam District. The church was renovated by the metropolitan of Kottayam diocese Mor Gregorius Gheevarghese. H. H. Patriarch Zakka I consecrated the church in 1982. A small portion of the girdle belonging to Holy Virgin has been preserved here. Large number of devotees arrive here to offer memorial prayers to the eternal remains of Metropolitan Mor Gregorius Gheevarghese.
