The town of Srinagar is situated to the south-east of Chakdah, in Nadia District of West Bengal. Around 15 km west of Srinagar is Simurali. Nearby places include Madanpur and Kalyani to the south-west, Haringhata to the south and Bangaon to the east. The town also borders with the district of North 24 Parganas.
