Sri Prathapasimmeswarar Temple is located at
Settur in
Karaikal District of
Pondicherry. It is believed to be built in 13th or 14th century. The inscriptions of the
Chola period are found in this temple. Now it is a protected monument under the Archaeological Survey of India.
