Sri Durgadevi Temple




Sri Durgadevi Temple is a highly revered shrine situated at Herga, about 8 km from Udupi, in Karnataka. This shrine dedicated to Goddess Durga is situated on a small hillock, about 3 km from Parkala junction.

It is believed that Goddess Durgadevi came from Indrali and stayed here in the form of a Shivling.

Udupi Railway Station, managed by the Konkan Railways, is the nearest major railhead. Local transport buses are available from Udupi Bus Station to Herga.
