Sreekandapuram Vishnu Temple

Sreekandapuram Vishnu Temple is situated about 3 km north of Guruvayoor in Thrissur District, Kerala. This big temple is dedicated to Lord Vishnu. It belongs to the Thamarayur Illam. Another temple dedicated to Lord Ayyappa is nearby. Sreekandapuram temple celebrates its annual Pooram festival on the 1st day of Makaram (January-February).

The temple can be approached easily as it is on the way to Punnathur Kotta, one of the largest elephant parks in the world. From all major cities and towns of Kerala, buses are available to Guruvayoor, 33 km north of Thrissur. The nearest railhead is Guruvayoor Railway Station.
