Sree Vinayaka Mandir

Sree Vinayaka Mandir is a modern temple situated in New Delhi. The presiding deity here is Lord Ganesh, enshrined with Siddhi and Buddhi on either side.

The temple represents 34 Ganesh forms - the Simha Ganapati (Ganapati riding on a lion), the five-head Heramba Ganapati, and a blue-colored Vaishnava Ganapati (Krishna's color) are some of the rare Ganesh forms represented in the temple.

Vinayaka Chaturthi, celebrated during August/September for a period of 10 days, is a major draw. Thaipusam, Shivratri, Ram Navami, Tamil New Year, Hanuman Jayanti and Shanka Abishekam are also celebrated with much delight.
