Spot Judy Butterfly

One of the rarest butterflies in India, Spot Judy (Abisara chela) is distributed in Shillong, Meghalaya. The wingspan is about 4.5 to 6.5 cm. Wings are dark brown in color. Different types of white bands are seen on the upper surface of the forewing. The hind wing has short brown and white tipped tail.
