Southern Treepie (Dendrocitta leucogastra) is seen in evergreen and shola forests. It mainly moves in pairs. The bird is primarily insectivorous but it also eats fruits. A cup shaped platform in small trees forms its nest.
Southern Treepie can be seen the Mookambika Wildlife Sanctuary, Karnataka.
