Sorghum




Sorghum belongs to grass family Poaceae. Seeds are used to make meals and is also a cattle feed. It grows in hot arid or semi-arid areas.

The many subspecies are divided into four groups including grain sorghums, grass sorghums, sweet sorghums (produce sorghum syrups) and broom corn. Sweet sorghums produce sorghum syrups.
