Sopona

Sopona is located on the Mane-Pooh trekking route, in the Lahaul and Spiti District of Himachal Pradesh. It is around 12 km north of Susing Thach. The town is 80 km north of Rekong Peo, the headquarters of Kinnaur District. Pin Valley Park, Kibber Sanctuary, Kye Monastery and Bara Shigri Glacier are some of the prominent tourist spots near Sopona. Kullu Manali Airport and Shimla Railway Station serve the town.
