Sonal Mansingh

Sonal Mansingh is a famed Odissi and Bharatanatyam dancer who is also a well-known as social activist, researcher, choreographer and teacher. Since 1964, Sonal has been performing at various cultural events - both in India and in foreign countries. She has immense knowledge of Bharatanatyam, Chhau Dance, and Indian music. In 1977, Sonal established the Centre for Indian Classical Dances (CICD) at Delhi, with an intension to impart training to young men and women in various dance forms. She is a recipient of several prestigious national and international awards.
